Lal Tibba is the highest peak of Mussoorie located at an altitude of 2,290 m above sea level and the mountain views of the holy temples of Kedarnath and Badrinath are something amazing and have never seen before. A Japanese telescope is installed at the edge of the cliff to give its viewers a clear view of the surroundings, and the place is extremely safe from most commercial activities.
Happy Valley –
Happy Valley has located a short distance from Mall Road in the center of the Tibetan settlement in Mussoorie. The first Tibetans to flee Lhasa in 1959 were the Dalai Lama, their spiritual leader, before coming to the hospice.
Camel’s Back Road –
The road bears the name of rock which is shaped like a camel’s bud at the back and extends about 3-4 km from Kulri Bazaar to Mussoorie Library Chowk. The road is ideal for walking, as it offers amazing views of valleys and hills.
Gun Hill –
Gun Hill is Mussoorie’s second-highest peak, the name of the place was derived from the shooting of a cannon from this place. The place is located at an altitude of 2,044 meters above sea level and offers some spectacular views of the surroundings.
Mussoorie Lake –
The Lake was recently developed as a picnic spot by the City Board and Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority which is located 6 kilometers away on the Mussoorie-Dehradun road. A beautiful little lake made by natural waterfalls on the way down the road and you will see ducks swimming in the lake. Also, you can take a paddleboat here and enjoy the amazing surroundings.
